In 20+ years of supporting youth, young adults, and families, Dr. Wynn has invested in persons with diverse gender, sexual, and relational identities. She is the founder of both the Sexual Wellness in Counseling Interest Network and the Association for Counseling Sexology and Sexual Wellness Division of the American Counseling Association. She specializes in anxiety, trauma, and grief work; particularly systemic and spiritual trauma.

In her 20 years of service in the US Army, Wendy deployed for Operations Desert Storm/Shield, Enduring Freedom, & Iraqi Freedom as an Operating Room Technician, Career Counselor, Drug and Alcohol NCO, & Division Combat Lifesaver Instructor. After retiring from service, Wendy has found passion in counseling, school counseling, and clinical counseling. She specializes in supporting youth, families, and community members.
Clinician/Educator | He/Him
Josh is a counselor/educator devoted to a holistic approach to healing. Outside of providing emotionally focused therapy (EFT) for helping with daily living, Josh specializes in hormonal replacement therapy (HRT) and all forms of relationship counseling, individuals needing help with daily life, seeking gender-affirming care, experiencing a gender transition, having issues in their relationships, and looking for spiritual guidance on their path.

As a trauma-informed therapist with experience in individual and family counseling, Curtis blends CBT, DBT, strengths-based, and existential approaches to support clients navigating complex emotions and life transitions. Passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, he helps clients process trauma, anxiety, and explore their identies from a non-judgmental lens. He believes healing comes from self-awareness, connection, and the courage to embrace growth.

Lisa is a dedicated advocate supporting LGBTQIA+, PWUD, and marginalized communities to navigate experiences around recovery, post-incarceration trauma, and personal life transitions. Using trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing, she empowers clients to create lasting change. Lisa believes in promoting resilience and self-acceptance in her clients lives to encourage transformation at any life stage.
Clinical Intern | She/Her
Kylie is a master’s level clinical mental health intern passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ clients and individuals navigating anxiety, stress, and trauma. She takes a trauma-informed approach using CBT and DBT techniques to foster healing and self-discovery. Dedicated to creating an affirming space, Kylie believes no one should feel alone on their mental health journey.

Ailee takes a person-centered approach to counseling. She sees her clients as experts in their own lives and provides support through DBT and CBT techniques. She specializes in helping teens and young adults manage anxiety and depression while building coping skills for lasting resilience. Passionate about advocating for marginalized communities, Ailee creates a safe space for growth, healing, and self-discovery.

Vocal Coach | She/Her, They/Them
Holding degrees in Music Education and Performance, Danielle has spent the last decade studying & teaching healthy vocal habits. She blends traditional music vocal care techniques with contemporary queer voice instruction to help clients discover their affirming voice. Danielle also performs in several bands around SC, teaches music lessons, and enjoys reading and playing video games.

Resource/Outreach Consultant | She/Her
Originally from Brevard, NC, Dayna is a transwoman, advocate, and support group facilitator. She attended ASU and USC. With 2 decades of transgender advocacy experience, Dayna was the first trans woman to testify at the state house in 2015 publicly, advocated for BCBS-SC to remove trans health exclusions in 2016, ran for state Senate in 2018, and served on the TransAction Committee for SC Equality and as a board member of the HHC Foundation.
Event Planning Team Member | She/Her
Trisha has been a significant support for our event planning team. She has served in the Army Reserve for seventeen years as an Animal Care Sergeant. When she is not working with animals, going to drill, or volunteering at Yew Belong, Trisha is busy teaching her wife and kids about beekeeping, restoring her '69 Camaro, and taking road trips to explore sleepy towns, small farms, and antique shops.
